BaseStation 3200 & 3000+

New Update 10.5.10.14 Released May 11, 2010

The current release software for the BaseStation 3200 and 3000+ systems is 10.5.10.14. You can see the version of sofware you are running from the AUX dial position on your 3000+/3200 controller.

usbflash You will need access to a computer with a USB port and a USB drive in order to complete the upgrade.

Upgrade Instructions:

  1. Extract the "Update" folder to USB Flash Drive:
    1. Open the downloaded zip file, extract the contents and place them at the root level of your USB drive.
    2. Once this is finished, remove the USB drive and connect it to your 3000+/3200's USB port.
  2. Backup Current Controller Configuration:
    1. Insert USB drive into 3000+/3200
    2. Turn the dial to AUX, press next until "USB Data" is highlighted, press ENTR to open this menu
    3. In the new menu, ensure "Backup" is highlighted, and press ENTR to back up your current configuration.
  3. Update Controller Software:
    1. Turn the dial to AUX, press next until "System" is highlighted, and press ENTR to open this menu.
    2. In the new menu, press "PREV" to highlight the empty, unlabeled box so it shows red, and press the "—" key twice. The box should now display * UPDATE * and still be red.
      1. There should be two columns of dates displayed to the left, some not matching. If this does NOT show, the Update folder was incorrectly copied to the USB drive. Reconnect it to the PC and confirm the folder was copied correctly.
    3. Press ENTR and the update process should begin, indicated by the "BUSY.." text in the upper left. Once completed the "BUSY..." text will disappear and the two columns of dates should match, as indicated by "=" symbols.
  4. Reset the Controller:
    1. To reset the controller turn the dial to OFF, then press and hold the "+", "—" and "ENTR" buttons until the screen goes blank.
    2. Once the controller is finished restarting, turn the dial to AUX to confirm the version number is correct and that update was successful.

BaseStation 3000

The current release software for the BaseStation 3000 and 3000R systems is 8.8.9.12. You can see the version of sofware you are running from the AUX dial position on your 3000 controller:

To install updated software, use the links below to download the software and instructions. You will need to store the sofware on a SD (Smart Digital) card, insert this card in the appropriate slot in your BaseStation 3000 Controller, and follow the installation instructions.

 You will need access to a computer with a built in SD card reader or a USB SD Card Reader in order to complete the upgrade. USB SD Card readers are available through most computer retail stores.
